Nosy — Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be 13 years of age or older to create a Nosy account and use the service.

What Nosy is

Nosy is a friendly check-in companion. It is not a medical, legal, or crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number; in the US you can call or text 988.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Third-party processors

Nosy relies on service providers to operate. By using Nosy you acknowledge that:

• Anthropic (Claude Haiku) processes your messages, recent conversation

context, and reply-relevant profile (e.g. name, tone) to generate replies and classify messages for safety — never your email or password;

• Resend sends your login-code email;
• Render provides hosting and the database;
• Apple delivers push notifications on iOS; and
• Google is used only if you connect Calendar or Gmail (read-only).

Acceptable use

Don't use Nosy to break the law, harm others, or abuse the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app.
